We were delighted to attend the ground-breaking ceremony at Lord Williams’s School in Thame last week to celebrate the expansion works starting on site!

The upgrades to the School form part of Oxfordshire County Council’s strategic planning to ensure enough secondary school places are available to meet future demand. The planned expansion will allow for 150 additional pupils, in line with the school’s goal to grow from offering 11 forms of entry to 12 forms of entry as well as a new English Block that will create nine high quality teaching spaces in addition to a state-of-the-art accessible ICT suite.

As we strive to promote sustainability in all that we do, it is great to see that the hoarding being used on site is made of 80% recycled materials! The fully reusable system reduces waste on site and is 100% recyclable at end of life, with funds generated from the recycling being donated to charity!

GSSllp are providing Employers Agent and Quantity Surveying services alongside Architects, GSSArchitecture. Borras Construction, who were appointed through the Pagabo Medium Works Framework, are delivering the scheme as Main Contractor.
