Planning Permission Granted for Northampton Saints Indoor Training Facility

Following a successful planning application, GSSllp are delighted to announce that planning permission has been granted for a new indoor training facility at Northampton Saints Rugby.

Located to the south of cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens, the new amenities will provide year-round, dedicated, private training facilities which will allow the club to train effectively, on site, in all weather conditions, assisting the playing teams in their aspirations to continuously improve.

The new training centre will help reinforce Northampton Saints’ status as a top Premiership Club operating at the highest level, providing training for top class players for both the national premiership and international game. Once enhanced, the overall facilities at Franklin’s Gardens will support the attraction of major sporting events to Northampton, helping the local economy as well as the Rugby Club.

Its impact will be felt far beyond just the club, giving the town and county a fantastic new facility at the heart of its community.

Rugby has been played at Franklin’s Gardens for over 130 years and the project will also enable the club to engage with the community in new ways. GSSllp have been working closely with Northampton Saints on this new development and are providing Project and Cost Management services.
