Whilst we typically work on new builds, extensions, and refurbishments/alterations across sectors such as Commercial, Education, Residential and Healthcare, GSSLLP also carry out a significant amount of work in the more specialised Heritage sector.
Work in this sector typically involves the repair and restoration of Listed buildings and buildings of historical significance, such as the Grade II* listed Hind Hotel in Wellingborough, the Grade II* listed Bishop Cosin’s Library at Durham University, and a number of stately homes for clients such as Boughton Estates and the Althorp Estate.
We have also worked on many local Churches, from small projects such as re-roofing works, to larger projects involving adapting them to meet the more modern needs of the Church, with the addition of disabled access and increased community facilities.
Working closely alongside GSSArchitecture’s Special Projects Team, GSSLLP have developed a diverse portfolio of such projects in the Heritage sector. If you have an upcoming project that you think could benefit from GSSLLP’s experience in this sector, please feel free to get in touch.
