The suppliers for a new NHS Shared Business Services (NHS SBS) Framework Agreement have been announced. We are pleased to have been named as a supplier for the NHS SBS Healthcare Planning, Construction Consultancy and Ancillary Services framework agreement.
NHS SBS was created in 2004 by the Department of Health and Social Care and Sopra Steria to deliver corporate services to the NHS to make life easier for NHS employees, patients, and suppliers, and delivers value for money to the taxpayer.
We will be providing quantity surveying services under Lot 4 of the framework agreement which will run for four years and provide national coverage to the NHS. The framework agreement will enable clients from the NHS and other public sector organisations, such as emergency services, universities, and local authorities, to commission construction consultancy services in a simple, streamlined, and cost-effective manner.
Paul Vega, Partner at GSSllp, said, “We are delighted to have secured a place on the NHS SBS Healthcare Planning, Construction Consultancy and Ancillary Services Framework Agreement and look forward to providing quantity surveying services on a variety of exciting and innovative schemes.”
Proud members of the NHS family, NHS SBS provides finance and accounting, procurement, and workforce services to more than half the NHS in England. Sharing common values and unity of purpose with the rest of the NHS family, its solutions are underpinned by cutting-edge technologies and the teams’ expertise, in-depth understanding of the NHS, and commitment to service excellence.
Melissa King, Senior Category Manager – Construction and Infrastructure, said, “We’re excited to launch our Healthcare Planning, Construction Consultancy and Ancillary Services framework agreement, which replaces our successful Construction Consultancy Services 2 framework agreement. It is designed to support the NHS and wider public sector by providing high-quality, innovative, and cost-effective solutions through UK-wide coverage, a unique depth of expertise and a broad range of suppliers.”
This appointment is the latest Framework Agreement success for the Practice, who have recently secured places on the West Northamptonshire Council and LHC/CPC Frameworks.
